Exploring the Deep Sea at Scale

Intelligent Sampling

We have developed a new way to collect and return seabed samples. This is the first touch-and-go autonomous sampling tool for exploring oceans on Earth and other worlds. It works with our Laser Divebot to smartly select high-value samples for follow-on scientific analysis.

Marine Resources

We are creating the first economical and scalable service to find marine minerals and catalog biodiversity in the seabed. Our solution will help deliver energy transition minerals responsibly, ensuring the tools of that transition are as sustainable as the future we envision.

Laser Divebot

We have built the first subsea observatory that can map habitats and minerals on-the-fly.  It can cover large extensions of the seafloor much faster than traditional ship-based methods.  Our laser divebot finally brings the lab to the seabed, a true paradigm shift in ocean exploration.

InVADER’s Laser Divebot is on board the Ocean Exploration Trust’s 2023 expedition for scientific discovery.
